- My name is Andrea.
- I’m 31 years old.
- My birthday is in January
- I’m married to husband Mark.
- He’s 10 years older than me.
- We’ve been married for almost five years.
- We had a big, Christmas-themed wedding.
- We went to Arizona for our honeymoon
- And rode mules to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
- We have one child, daughter Hayley, born September 2002.
- We own a home in South Central PA, near the MD/PA border,
- A three-bedroom tri-level on one-acre,
- Although we’re both natives of Baltimore, Maryland.
- I work full-time in PR & Marketing for a manufacturing company.
- I’m searching for a part-time job where I can still make decent money,
- Or a full-time job that will allow me to work from home a few days a week.
- I have a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
- From Elizabethtown College in Lancaster County, PA.
- I also have 12 credits toward a graduate degree
- That I’ll probably never finish.
- I have blonde hair
- And blue eyes
- And I’m just shy of five feet eight
- Hobbies include Reading,
- (I read mysteries, thrillers, chick lit, Southern fiction),
- Watching lots of TV,
- (Favorite shows include West Wing, Law & Order (the original and SVU), the CBS Monday night comedy line-up and American Dreams.)
- (Shows that I loved that are no longer on include Any Day Now and State of Grace.)
- (I hope they come out on DVD.)

- (I’m really slow and it takes me a long time to finish projects.)
- Outdoors stuff – hiking, biking,
- (I just started looking into getting a baby bike seat for Hayley)
- And Traveling.
- One of my goals in life is to visit all 50 states.
- I’m halfway there.
- Fortunately, my first job out of college involved a lot of travel before I was married with a family.
- I was able to check many states off of my list
- And also go to Europe twice.
- I’ve been to Amsterdam and Barcelona.
- My favorite cities are San Francisco, Nashville, New Orleans and Atlanta.
- Plus anyplace in the mountains, like Gatlinburg.
- I also love sports.
- We’re both Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins fans at our house.
- I also love college basketball,
- But I’m not that into the NBA.
- I’m a Duke Blue Devils fan
- And a Maryland Terrapins fan
- Which is conflicting.
- I used to be a big baseball fan,
- But I’m one of the fans Major League Baseball lost after the strike in 1994.
- I worked at Oriole Park at Camden Yards summers while I was in college.
- And was there when Baltimore hosted the All-Star game.
- We also watch a lot of NASCAR and NHRA racing.
- My husband owns two race cars
- And goes drag racing on the weekends at several local tracks.
- My pet peeves include: people who fill the back windows of their cars with stuffed animals,
- And poor customer service.
- I do not have any piercings (other than ears) or tattoos.
- My parents are still married.
- I’m very close to them.
- I have two sisters
- And two nieces
- And a large extended family.
- As does my husband
- Two sisters, one brother, 7 nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces.
- I listen to country music
- And used to country line dance every week when I was a Singleton.
- I’ve been to Nashville several times,
- And line danced at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas.
- I bite my nails.
- I am a pack rat,
- But also very organized.
- I collect lots of different things – it runs in the family – including:
- Travel and National Park memorabilia,
- Cat’s Meow houses,
- Memorabilia from Gone with the Wind,
- Raggedy Ann & Andy,
- (Hayley’s nursery theme is Raggedy Ann & Andy)
- Wonder Woman figurines,
- And the usual shot glasses, books and CDs.
- I also love everything Elvis,
- But only have a small collection of memorabilia.
- I have been to Graceland once.
- My dream job is to be a Park Ranger.
- I volunteered for two years as a tour guide at Hampton National Historic Site,
- But quit after Hayley was born.
- I really enjoyed it and learned a lot of different things,
- Not just about the site, but the Park Service, too.
- I read the NPS morning report online every day.
- There are some very interesting happenings taking place in our national parks.
- Being a mother has been the most fantastic, amazing thing in my life so far,
- Even though it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
- For me, all of the (good) cliches about parenthood are true.
- It has been a true joy every day for the past nine months,
- Even during the first three colic-filled months.
- I love watching her learn new things every day.
- Her smile will melt your heart.
- I really wish I could spend more time with her
- And I’m working really hard toward that goal.
